Days have become lingering shadows I feel them shrouding me I know what I want to become But I can't find my destiny I sense that it is near - my dream to be Yet I just wish it would appear -right in front of me
Born in the spring of a Roman Catholic mother and a jewish father who divorced when she was 6, Alisa is no stranger to conflict. Music was in her blood. Her mother had dreamed of being an opera singer, her father, with a fine voice enjoyed entertaining others by singing popular songs of the day. Her great Uncle, Morey Feld had been a jazz drummer for the greats, including Benny Goodman, Bobby Hackett and Billy Butterfield. From a small child, Alisa sang. She sang to make herself feel happy & free.
Needing braces 3 separate times, she grew interested in dentistry and started pursuing studies. A hard worker, she was putting herself through college, and doing well in her courses but her heart wasn't in it. Then she met somone very special named Terry, who recognized her talent and gave her the necessary support to follow her passion. From that point on there was no stopping her.
